Project Overview
KWAHO supported the implementation of a comprehensive program revolving around multiple water use, financial literacy, food and nutrition security and Menstrual hygiene management for rural women.
within the ASAL and pastoral Kajiado County – for both domestic and productive purposes – the program further seeks to unlock the potential of pastoral women through gained health benefits, livelihoods improvement and increased resilience. In addition, the programme specifically contributed to improved livelihoods, strengthened women’s economic empowerment, and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene practices within Kajiado pastoral women’s community.
